INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – The Nationwide Convention of African People Librarians is pulling their nationwide convention out of Indianapolis in response to the controversy across the native search of a brand new library CEO.
The conference was scheduled to be in Indianapolis in July. The group stated in a information launch issued Friday that the actions of the Indianapolis Public Library Board created an inhospitable location.
The convention shall be in New Orleans in 2024.
