2nd tiger cub dies at Indianapolis Zoo

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A second Amur tiger cub on the Indianapolis Zoo has died, the downtown facility introduced Friday.

Nicolas was the brother of two different cubs, Roman and Helina.

All three cubs suffered a liver defect, both current at delivery or acquired quickly after. The cubs have been born Could 27.

The zoo on Sept. 29 introduced Roman’s demise. In that announcement, the zoo mentioned Roman had a congenital coronary heart defect that brought about “quite a few well being considerations.”

Helina continues to endure remedy from the veterinary employees on the zoo.
