Hillforest Home Museum

Overlooking the Ohio River in Aurora, the gorgeous Hillforest Victorian Home Museum was in-built 1855 for industrialist Thomas Graff. Its distinctive form is alleged to be impressed by steamboats of the nineteenth century. The location has been working as a historic home museum since 1956 and is considered one of 11 Nationwide Historic Landmarks in southern Indiana. Hillforest opens for excursions as we speak and hosts many particular occasions all through the season. Hillforest open NOW…Tuesday – Friday, 11 AM – 3 PM (final tour begins at 2:15 PM) and Saturday and Sunday, 1 – 5 PM (final tour begins at 4:15 PM). (Closed main holidays). Out there for particular occasions and teas!
