Missing girl, 3, dies after being found in NW Indiana lake

LONG BEACH, Ind. (AP) – Police say a 3-year-old lady who went lacking in a northwest Indiana neighborhood died after she was discovered hours later alongside a small lake’s shoreline.
Michigan Metropolis Police Division Sgt. Steve Forker tells The Instances of Northwest Indiana that the lady, who had autism and was nonverbal, died Thursday regardless of an hours-long effort to revive her.
Authorities haven’t launched the lady’s title.
She was reported lacking at 11:30 a.m. Thursday.
Officers from a number of police companies discovered her two hours later within the water alongside the north shoreline of Clare Lake in Lengthy Seaside. That LaPorte County neighborhood overlooks Lake Michigan about 40 miles east of Chicago.
