Memorial Day weekend services set for Evansville, Indiana area

Seeking to observe Memorial Day and honor those that died defending their nation? Here is a take a look at a few of the ceremonies on the schedule for the vacation weekend. 

Charles Denby VFW Submit 2953

Monday, 10 a.m. at Sundown Cemetery, 1800 Saint George Street, Evansville.

The service will function a 21-gun salute and the names of all veterans who had been serviced by Sundown since final Memorial Day can be learn. For many who can’t attend in individual, the service can be streamed on Fb.

Monday, 9 a.m. at  Alexander Memorial Park, 2200 Mesker Park Drive, Evansville.

Anybody wishing to help with the ceremony ought to arrive by 8:30 a.m.

American Legion Funkhouser Submit

Saturday, 10:30 a.m. for music and a service at 11 a.m. at 5133 Indiana 261 in Newburgh, Indiana.

American Legion Pate Submit

Saturday at 8:30 a.m., flags can be distributed at Park Garden Cemetery, 1526 S. Inexperienced River Street in Evansville. A service can be happen Monday at 10:30 a.m. at Park Garden Cemetery.
