Man accused of stabbing Walmart employee with a machete, Indiana police say

ELKHART, Ind. (WNDU/Grey Information) – A Walmart worker in Indiana was stabbed with a machete within the car parking zone Tuesday morning, police say.

In line with the Elkhart Police Division, Lincoln Leuchtner, 25, is accused of taking a machete from the shop and hiding it inside his backpack.

Whereas within the car parking zone, Leuchtner is accused of calling over a Walmart worker and attacking him with the machete.

Throughout the investigation, police discovered a machete beneath a automobile within the Walmart car parking zone, WNDU reported.

The Walmart worker was taken to the hospital and is anticipated to be OK.

Police mentioned it’s unclear if Leuchtner and the Walmart worker knew one another.
