Indiana ranked No. 12 in initial KenPom ratings, top team in the Big Ten

The brand new KenPom.com rankings are out for the 2022-23 season and Indiana will start ranked within the high 15 nationally.

IU is No. 12 in Pomeroy’s rankings, which is the very best score for a Massive Ten staff. Final season, Indiana was No. 31 to start out the season and completed No. 48.

The remainder of the Massive Ten is ranked as follows:

Michigan (No. 26)
Michigan State (No. 31)
Ohio State (No. 32)
Illinois (No. 33)

Rutgers (No. 50)

The Hoosiers sit at No. 22 nationally in offensive effectivity within the preseason, in keeping with Pomeroy, and at No. 9 in defensive effectivity.

Indiana completed final season ranked ninety fifth nationally in offensive effectivity and twenty fourth in defensive effectivity.

Indiana is projected to complete the common season 22-9 general and 13-7 within the Massive Ten.

The highest ranked non-conference opponents on Indiana’s schedule are Kansas (No. 8), North Carolina (No. 9), Arizona (No. 10) and Xavier (No. 38).
