Richmond police Officer Seara Burton, 28, was transferred to a hospice facility within the Richmond space Saturday, the division stated. She had been handled at a hospital in Dayton, Ohio, since being shot on Aug. 10.

Burton was taken off life assist Thursday.

“Officer Seara Burton’s accidents have been decided to be unrecoverable,” the division stated Wednesday. “Seara will dwell on and proceed to be a hero along with her selfless present of organ donation.”

Prosecutors have filed three tried homicide expenses towards Phillip Matthew Lee, a Richmond man accused of taking pictures Burton.

Lee, 47, has been held in jail on a $1.5 million bond. He pleaded not responsible throughout an preliminary court docket look.
