Gunfire narrowly misses truck driver traveling on I-80 in NW Indiana

A truck driver was shot at whereas driving on Interstate 80 Monday afternoon close to the Illinois-Indiana border.

Somebody inside a small grey Nissan with Illinois license plates opened hearth on the truck driver round 2:52 p.m. lower than a mile east of the state border, based on Indiana State Police.

There have been two bullet holes within the truck. One of many bullets entered the cab of the truck close to the driving force’s legs, putting the cup holder and puncturing a Mountain Dew can, police stated.

The truck driver was not injured within the capturing and instructed state police he was shot at for no obvious motive.

One of many bullets was recovered.
