‘All INdiana Politics’: Indiana legislature wrap-up and US debt ceiling moves

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Indiana’s 2023 legislative session is formally within the books.

Lawmakers wrapped up their work within the early hours of Friday after a marathon session. Republican Gov. Eric Holcomb stated he bought just about all the things he requested for.

On Sunday’s “All INdiana Politics,” Information 8’s authorities reporter Garrett Bergquist, defined why each side are claiming some victories. Additionally, two members of Indiana’s greatest political group, Democrat Lara Beck and Republican Mario Massillamany talked in regards to the legislative measures affecting colleges and their libraries.

In the meantime, Washington’s price range battle is heating up. The Home voted Wednesday to move a invoice elevating the nation’s debt ceiling. In January, the U.S. hit the debt ceiling set by Congress, forcing the Treasury Division to begin taking extraordinary measures to maintain the federal government open and escalating stress on Capitol Hill to keep away from a catastrophic default.
