Woman killed while riding moped being towed

ST. CLAIR COUNTY, Il. (WTVO) – Illinois State Police report a deadly crash involving two autos that occurred at roughly 11:38 p.m. Friday. The accident occurred on Collinsville Street, west of Arlington Avenue in St. Clair County.
Police say a car was towing a disabled moped with out working taillights, touring westbound on Collinsville Street. There was a passenger on the disabled moped.
One other car, a pickup truck, struck the again of the moped killing the passenger, a 34-year-old girl from Edwardsville, Illinois.
That is an open and ongoing investigation and there are not any different particulars out there at the moment.
