Rushville graduate named Illinois FFA president
RUSHVILLE, In poor health. (WGEM) – A well-known face to some within the Tri-States will get an opportunity to discover Illinois this 12 months after being elected to guide the Illinois State FFA.
On the state conference held final month, 5 new officers have been elected together with Rachel Hood, a current graduate of Rushville-Trade Excessive College.
All through her highschool profession, Hood stated she was actively concerned with the FFA.
Hood stated her supervised agricultural expertise concerned agricultural schooling, the place she taught fifth, eighth, tenth and eleventh graders about parliamentary process, public talking, welding and woodworking.
Now, as president, Hood stated she was excited to have the ability to work together with extra college students throughout the state.

Hood stated she plans to attend Kansas College after her time period as president and main in agricultural schooling.
A Proud Instructor
Hood was not the one one enthusiastic about her new position as a state chief in Illinois.
Sydney Riden, the agriculture instructor and FFA advisor at Rushville-Trade Excessive College, stated with teary eyes that she was extraordinarily pleased with Rachel for her exhausting work.
