July 4th Illinois shooting: Community members hold candlelight vigil for victims

Illinois residents, nonetheless reeling from the July 4th mass taking pictures in Highland Park, got here collectively Tuesday night to honor those that had been killed.

Jacquelyn Sundheim, 63, of Highland Park

Stephen Straus, 88, of Highland Park

Nicolas Toledo-Zaragoza, 78, of Morelos, Mexico

Illinois police arrested the 21-year-old suspect, who was believed to have acted alone in finishing up an assault he had deliberate for weeks.

He was subsequently charged with seven counts of first-degree homicide – one for every sufferer.
