Illinois women hurt in crash in High Ridge

Two Illinois girls had been injured Friday morning, June 3, in a three-vehicle accident at Hwy. 30 and Excessive Ridge Boulevard in Excessive Ridge, the Missouri State Freeway Patrol reported.

At 10:10 a.m., Lauren L. Traiteur, 33, of Marine, Unwell., was driving a northbound 2015 Ford Fusion and whereas turning left from eastbound Hwy. 30 to northbound Excessive Ridge Boulevard, she reportedly didn’t yield to oncoming site visitors, and the entrance of a westbound 2013 Ford Taurus pushed by James L. Slape, 27, of Hillsboro struck the rear of the Fusion. After that collision, the Fusion started to spin, and the rear of it struck the rear of a southbound 2004 Chevrolet Avalanche pushed by Michael D. Brown, 72, of Excessive Ridge, the report stated.

No accidents had been reported for Slape or Brown.

Nonetheless, Traiteur and a passenger within the Fusion – Melissa A. Hozain, 28, of Troy, Unwell. – had been reasonably injured and brought by North Jefferson County Ambulance to Mercy Hospital South in south St. Louis County.

All three drivers and Hozain had been carrying seat belts, the patrol reported.

The Taurus was totaled, the Fusion was extensively broken, and the Avalanche had minor harm, the report stated.
