Illinois to create hate crimes hotline

ILLINOIS (KMOV) — Illinois has seen a big rise in hate crimes within the final two years. Lots of the assaults have been in opposition to Asian People, the LGBTQ group and Jewish college students.

Now, the state is trying to create a hate crimes hotline. It could be separate from making a report back to legislation enforcement.
