Illinois Tik Tok users eligible for payout from $92M class action privacy lawsuit
SPRINGFIELD, Unwell. – Tik Tok is paying out $92 million to settle a lawsuit — and nearly all of the cash will go to folks in Illinois.
The lawsuit is over claims that the app violated each federal regulation and an Illinois privateness regulation.
It says the app collected knowledge from customers and shared it to different corporations with out folks’s consent.

Tik Tok customers in Illinois who created movies previous to September 30, 2021 had been eligible for a cost.
The deadline to submit a declare was on March 1, 2022.
