Not all vacation motion pictures are created equal, definitely not within the eyes of the 2022-23 U of I School of Media Roger Ebert Fellows.

On Dec. 21, 2022, the day earlier than the storm rolled throughout the midwest, this yr’s trio of Ebert Fellows met on the studios of Chicago Public Radio and WBEZ-FM on Navy Pier. They labored, on mic and off, with the skilled steerage of “Filmspotting” co-host Adam Kempenaar and longtime “Filmspotting” and WBEZ producer Joe DeCeault, together with fellowship advisor and Chicago Tribune movie critic Michael Phillips.
