2 injured in house explosion in downstate Allendale, Illinois
CHICAGO (CBS) — Two persons are within the hospital after a home exploded Friday in downstate Wabash County.
Smoking particles is all that is left of the house in Allendale, close to the Indiana border.
“Really some neighbors responded, and helped take away two individuals from the residence or the property, and it was simply on fireplace after that,” mentioned Wabash County Sheriff J. Derek Morgan.
These two individuals have been flown to a hospital in Louisville.
Investigators nonetheless do not know what induced the explosion.
