Sharlonda Buckman-Davis is the creator of “The Ardent Advocate” and Assistant Superintendent of Household and Group Engagement for the Detroit Public Colleges Group District. She says she was influenced to push for optimistic modifications due to her expertise, having been expelled from town’s public faculties at age 14.
