Michigan State Police investigating shooting on Davison Freeway near I-75 in Detroit
DETROIT (FOX 2) – Michigan State Police are investigating a capturing that closed the Davison Freeway on Saturday.
The capturing occurred on the Davison Freeway ramp to I-75 at round 4:50 p.m.
Troopers had been dispatched to westbound Davison for a Dodge Durango probably concerned in a capturing. When troopers arrived, they positioned a Dodge Durango that crashed towards the concrete wall. The again window was smashed out, and doorways had been open. Nobody was inside, police mentioned.
Contained in the automobile was a Draco pistol and spent shell casings, police mentioned. One shell casing was positioned on the freeway, matching casings discovered within the deserted automobile.
“A search warrant is being drafted for the automobile and 4 cell telephones discovered contained in the deserted automobile. Detectives are license plate readers and shot spotter proof,” MSP mentioned.
