DETROIT – A 21-year-old Detroit man has been charged in a deadly crash that occurred after police tried to cease the automobile he was driving for dashing.
Jordan Strawter was arraigned Saturday in Detroit’s thirty sixth District Court docket on reckless driving inflicting loss of life, driving with license suspended/revoked/denied inflicting loss of life, and fleeing and eluding inflicting loss of life, the Wayne County prosecutor’s workplace mentioned.
Police tried to cease the dashing automobile simply after midnight Thursday on the town’s far northwest facet. The automobile later struck one other automobile, killing its 32-year-old driver, Kendle McCallum. McCallum was pronounced lifeless on the scene, the prosecutor’s workplace mentioned.
