Detroit man attacked, sexually assaulted others at I-75 Welcome Center before fleeing police
MONROE TOWNSHIP, Mich. (FOX 2) – A Detroit man is awaiting extradition again to Michigan after he attacked a number of individuals at a welcome middle off of I-75 earlier than sexually assaulting an aged man and dragging him into the toilet.
He ultimately fled the scene and led police on a chase that led into Ohio. He was arrested after operating out of fuel.
The Monroe County Sheriff introduced it had apprehended the 32-year-old suspect Monday afternoon. The suspect’s first began attacking individuals round 2:30 p.m. in Monroe Township.

The suspect then attacked an 80-year-old Melvindale man within the foyer. Witnesses and bystanders intervened to cease the assault, which prompted the suspect to flee on foot. He crossed northbound journey lanes on the freeway to a car that was parked on the southbound shoulder.
