Woman faces charges for leaving 4-year-old son at Target in University Heights
CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – A 28-year-old Cleveland lady is charged with youngster endangering for allegedly leaving her son behind on the Goal retailer in College Heights.
Police mentioned, on Oct. 13, a Goal buyer initially discovered the 4-year-old boy wandering alone within the retailer’s toy aisles.
In accordance with investigators, the mom left her son sleeping within the backseat of the automobile whereas she went inside to buy.
At one level, the boy wakened and went into the Goal on his personal.
Surveillance footage reveals the lady within the retailer for roughly 19 minutes earlier than she completed buying and returned to her automobile.
Police mentioned the lady didn’t understand her son wasn’t within the backseat till she reached Mayfield Highway. She referred to as police dispatch to report her son was lacking almost 50 minutes after leaving the shop.
The lady is scheduled to face a Shaker Heights Municipal Court docket decide on Nov. 9.
