CLEVELAND, Ohio — A Twinsburg man once featured on the reality TV show “90-Day Fiancé” was charged with child porn possession.

Michael J. Eloshway, 42, is charged in federal court in Cleveland with two counts of possessing child pornography. He is scheduled for arraignment Wednesday in U.S. District Judge Patricia Gaughan’s courtroom.

Cleveland.com and The Plain Dealer reached out to the Federal Public Defender’s Office for comment.

The indictment lists few details about the case. The document says Eloshway downloaded “numerous” child pornography videos between Feb. 13, 2022 and March 27, 2023 and that he possessed at least one video depicting a child under 12 years old on May 7.

Eloshway appeared in the first season of the TLC show that features couples who apply for K-1 visas. Those visas allow foreign residents engaged to someone in the U.S. to travel here. They must get married within 90 days to become permanent citizens.

The show has been on the air since 2014 and spawned several spinoffs.

During Eloshway’s season, the show featured him meeting his future wife, Aziza Mazhidova.

Eloshway at the time was 31 and Mazhidova, who was born in Uzbekistan, was 21. Mazhidova was denied a work visa, applied for a K-1 visa and came to the U.S. from Russia.

The two met online before Mazhidova came to the U.S. They married in 2013.
