Trial to begin Tuesday for man accused in the murder of former Cleveland mayor’s grandson

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – Jury choice is now scheduled to start Tuesday within the trial for the 30-year-old man accused in reference to the homicide of Frank Q. Jackson, former Cleveland Mayor Frank Jackson’s grandson.

Robert Shepard was indicted by the Cuyahoga County Grand Jury on the costs of aggravated homicide, homicide and felonious assault. Cuyahoga County Courtroom of Frequent Pleas Choose Deena Calabrese will preside over his trial.

Jackson, 24, was shot and killed on Sept. 19. 2021 close to Sidaway Avenue and East seventieth Road in Cleveland.

Cuyahoga County Prosecutor Michael O’Malley stated Shepard lured Jackson to the realm, the place he was shot by an unidentified particular person.
