A new restaurant is coming to Cleveland’s Little Italy neighborhood.

In a recent social media post, the Italian restaurant Salted Dough announced that it is planning to open a new location in Cleveland. The new restaurant will be located in Cleveland’s Little Italy neighborhood at 12308 Mayfield Rd. No firm opening date for the new location has been announced yet, but the restaurant is expected to open sometime in the autumn.

The new Cleveland location will have a similar menu to Salted Dough’s original location. Salted Dough offers appetizers like meatballs, Brussels sprouts, charcuterie boards (which come with meats, terrines, house-made sausage, and artisan cheese; the restaurant also offers vegetarian boards with pickled vegetables, red peppered goat cheese, crostini, and Castelvetrano olives), burrata, grilled salted dough, and more.

Salted Dough is known for their pizza, which has a crust that’s finished with pecorino Romano, roasted garlic oil, and pink Himalayan sea salt. You can build your own pizza and add toppings like spinach, roasted tomatoes, eggplant, fresh basil, roasted red peppers, Spanish chorizo, fresh mozzarella, truffle oil, sausage, pepperoni, and more.

The menu also includes specialty pizzas like pesto (which is a flatbread topped with roasted red peppers, portabella mushrooms, fresh mozzarella, arugula, and balsamic drizzle), story deli (which is topped with pecorino, roasted garlic, cherry tomatoes, baby arugula, Parma prosciutto, shaved red onion, lemon zest, and extra virgin olive oil), Greco (which is topped with spinach, roasted garlic purée, feta cheese, fresh lemon juice, cherry tomato, fresh oregano, and Greek olive oil), and more.

Other pizza options include a Peruvian chicken pizza (which is topped with Peruvian purple potatoes, mozzarella, garlic, roasted tomatoes, chicken, feta, taleggio, fresh rosemary, and Castelvetrano olives) and a Spanish pizza, which is topped with Spanish chorizo, pimento goat cheese, fresh rosemary, roasted garlic, fire roasted red peppers, smoked mozzarella, and red sauce.

For those with dietary restrictions, the restaurant offers gluten-free crust.

If you have room for something sweet, Salted Dough offers gelato and tiramisu, both of which are made in-house.

If you can’t wait, you can go to Salted Dough’s original location at 9174 Broadview Rd, Broadview Heights, OH 44147 (which is remaining and will remain open). The restaurant is open 6 days a week, Tuesday to Thursday from 4 PM to 9 PM, Friday to Saturday from 11:30 AM to 10 PM, and Sunday from 9 AM to 2 PM for brunch and from 4 PM to 8 PM for dinner.
