A new eatery is getting ready for its grand opening in Cleveland.

Are you a fan of boba? If the answer is yes, you might want to check out Mooncat Boba Cafe, which is celebrating its grand opening on August 7. Doors are expected to open at 11 AM, and the first 50 people in line will receive a complimentary drink. The new eatery can be found in Cleveland at 3460 W 25th St.

Mooncat’s menu includes a selection of milk teas, which come in flavors like banana, blueberry, classic black, chocolate, coconut, coffee, guava, honey, jasmine green, kiwi, lychee, mango, brown sugar, passion fruit, peach, strawberry, taro, Thai, tiger (which combines Thai and classic black), and winter melon.

The shop also offers flavored teas and slushies, both of which come in a variety of flavors.

To any beverage, you can add classic tapioca boba or agar tapioca. In addition, Mooncat offers a selection of jellies: aloe vera, lychee, coconut, rainbow, and mango star. You can also add popping boba, which comes in these flavors: blueberry, green apple, mango, passion fruit, pomegranate, and strawberry.

If you’re hungry, the shop also serves some snacks. You can get waffle fries, veggie spring rolls, cheese sticks, fried dumplings, sugar biscuits, Taiwanese-style popcorn chicken, chicken rice bowls, and musubi.

Prior to the grand opening, the eatery held some soft opening events, which were well-received by attendees. Here is what a local guide had to say about the new addition to Cleveland in a Google review:

My husband and I got a kiwi green tea with strawberry popping boba, and guava slushy with passion fruit boba. Both were excellent, but I liked my kiwi best! Also ordered the popcorn chicken – it was a generous portion and very tasty and juicy. We learned that the owner developed this recipe from scratch. Impressive!

It’s a small friendly shop. I attended the soft opening. I love their boba and Musubi. I came with friends and none of the bobas I tasted were disappointing. I ordered a strawberry watermelon flavor boba with mango star jellies and Musubi with orange sauce. I didn’t know mango star jellies were a thing but it’s delightful! Will definitely be coming here as much as I can! Can’t wait to try all the other snacks and drinks on their menu!!!
