Best of Award of Excellence
The Best of Award of Excellence designation recognizes programs that “display excellent breadth across multiple winegrowing regions and/or significant vertical depth of top producers, along with superior presentation,” according to the magazine. Restaurants awarded in this category typically offer 350 or more wine selections.
This year, 1,411 programs around the world earned a Best of Award of Excellence honor, including downtown Cleveland’s Marble Room Steaks & Raw Bar.

Award of Excellence
The Award of Excellence goes to restaurants with roughly 90 or more wine selections that “feature a well-chosen assortment of quality producers, along with a thematic match to the menu in both price and style.”
Cleveland’s Edwins Restaurant, Lago East Bank and Morton’s The Steakhouse were among the 2,001 Award of Excellence recipients. Twenty-two more Ohio restaurants made the cut:
