Police: Teens, ages 13 and 16, arrested and charged shooting man during robbery at Akron park

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – Two boys, ages 13 and 16, had been arrested in connection to an armed theft and taking pictures in Akron on Thursday evening.

In response to Akron police, officers first responded simply earlier than 8:30 p.m. to an East Avenue enterprise after receiving experiences that two males sporting masks and gloves had been seen trying into the home windows.

After they arrived, police noticed two teenagers take off working on Battles Avenue.

One of many teen suspects fired a gunshot as he climbed a fence whereas fleeing from officers, in keeping with Akron police. It was later decided that the gunshot was unintentionally discharged and was not directed in the direction of police.
