CLEVELAND, Ohio — A person is hospitalized after their car and an Amtrak train was involved in a crash Saturday morning, Cleveland police said.

The crash happened Saturday morning on East 40th Street near Marginal Road, police said.

The Amtrak train, Train 48, was traveling from Chicago to New York just after 6 a.m. when a vehicle “obstructing the track came into contact with the train,” said W. Kyle Anderson, a spokesman for Amtrak.

None of the more than 300 people on board were injured, which included passengers and crew members, he said.
