CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – A Florida girl is in custody after Ohio State Freeway Patrol troopers confiscated almost three dozen kilos of cocaine from a van she was driving.

Ohio troopers initially stopped a Dodge cargo van with Texas registration on I-75 in Wooden County for a flip sign violation on Sept. 19, based on freeway patrol officers.

Felony indicators and an alert from a drug-sniffing Ok-9 prompted a possible trigger search of the van.

Through the search, troopers found 33 kilos of cocaine valued at roughly $1,073,000, the Ohio State Freeway Patrol mentioned.

The driving force, recognized by authorities as 32-year-old Paige LaTonya-Katryna Hamilton, was booked on the Wooden County Jail on drug possession and trafficking costs.

If convicted, the Florida girl might resist 22 years in jail and as much as a $40,000 superb.
