CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – A state freeway patrol trooper is fortunate to have averted vital accidents following an early-morning hit-and-run incident in northern Ohio.

The Ohio State Freeway Patrol hopes the general public may help determine the motive force of a pickup truck who struck the aspect of the trooper’s cruiser and continued driving.

The hit-skip incident occurred Friday simply after 1:30 a.m. on I-475 close to U.S. Route 23 in Lucas County, based on the OSHP.

Sprint digicam video from the freeway patrol exhibits the trooper diving over the interstate guardrail after the cruiser was struck whereas parked on the aspect with its emergency lights activated.

Investigators consider the pickup concerned is a dark-colored truck with harm on the left aspect.
