Ohio State Highway Patrol announces 2024 traffic safety initiatives

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – New traffic safety initiatives are being put into affect by the Ohio State Highway Patrol after a press conference Friday at the Cleveland Auto Show.

the 2024 initiatives were announced by the highway patrol and the Ohio Turnpike and Infrastructure Commission at 10 a.m..

The traffic safety initiatives include work zone awareness and are aimed at educating drivers on the importance of following traffic laws, according to a press release from OSHP.
