COLUMBUS, Ohio — A second statewide elected Republican has taken an early step toward running for Ohio governor, even though the election is nearly three years away.
Earlier this month, Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost updated his state political organization, marking on a form filed with the Ohio Secretary of State’s Office that he’s now running for “governor.”
