CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – Abundant sunshine remains in place as high pressure is anchored overhead.

This keeps a summer-like feel through the end of the week.

The latest drought monitor shows Abnormally Dry conditions popping up all across Northeast Ohio as we continue our stretch of dry, hot conditions.

Overnight lows will return to the upper 50s tonight under mostly clear skies.

More sunshine is on the way Friday with daytime highs back into the middle 80s.

Our next cold front arrives Saturday which will kick up some gusty winds along with a drop in temperatures through the second half of the weekend.

Moisture along the cold front is meager at best.

Any showers that do develop Saturday afternoon for areas to the south will likely only produce a couple hundredths of an inch of rain at best with isolated coverage.

Highs Saturday will reach the 80s before we settle into a cooler patter the second half of the weekend into next week.

Next rain chance may return Monday afternoon with another cold front, but moisture looks limited here too.

Best to keep the sprinklers going if you have grass or landscaping and flowers that need watering.
