CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – We’ve been treated to a fairly quiet week across northeast Ohio, but showers and storms will return to the area soon.

A cold front will pass through on Friday, and this will facilitate the development of a few isolated showers and storms.

Not everyone will see rain.

More numerous storms will occur on Sunday and Monday.

Some storms may be strong to severe.

Monday is a 19 FIRST ALERT WEATHER DAY.

The main threats will be damaging winds and heavy rain.

Heavy rain may lead to localized flooding.

In the meantime, the weather will be very tranquil.

Expect partly cloudy and dry conditions tonight.

Temperatures will fall into the low to mid 60s by Friday morning.

Friday will be warm with rising humidity levels.

Temperatures will top out in the low to mid 80s.
