CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – It’s been an absolutely beautiful ending to the work week, but rain is moving in tonight.

A cold front is moving through tonight and will be our focus for ongoing showers and storms into early Saturday morning.

Pockets of heavy rain may occur at times along with lightning and wind gusts up to 30 MPH with more organized activity.

The rain will move out from west to east early Saturday morning.

Cuyahoga County should be dry by mid-morning.

Colder air will arrive behind the front, and Saturday afternoon will be much cooler than what we’re currently experiencing.

The 19 First Alert Weather Team is forecasting highs in the low 60s on Saturday afternoon.

We’ll rebound quickly though!

Sunday, temperatures will warm back into the 70s.

High pressure will be our dominant weather-maker next week.

Expect mostly sunny skies and dry, warmer weather through next Friday!
