National Association of Black Journalists to honor 19 News’ Harry Boomer with Hall of Fame induction

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – 19 Information senior reporter and host Harry Boomer might be inducted into the Nationwide Affiliation of Black Journalists Corridor of Fame.

All awards, together with the Corridor of Fame induction ceremony, will occur in Las Vegas from Aug. 3 to Aug. 7 in the course of the 2022 NABJ-NAHJ Conference and Profession Honest.

“My heartfelt appreciation to all of you for permitting me to come back into your lives,” Boomer mentioned after his induction was introduced. “I couldn’t have achieved this glorious honor with out every of you, whom I view as household. God is sweet!”

Boomer began his profession in broadcasting Dec. 27, 1971 and has earned a number of awards since then, together with an induction into the Broadcasters Corridor of Fame.

Boomer may also be inducted into the Central Nice Lakes NATAS Gold Circle subsequent week, commemorating his 50 years within the area.
