Little girl dies after hit-skip crash in Cleveland; 17-year-old driver arrested, police say

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – Cleveland police mentioned slightly woman has died after being hit by a automobile Saturday night that drove off from the scene.

The motive force, recognized as a 17-year-old woman, was arrested and brought into custody, in line with police.

The crash occurred round 6:15 p.m. within the 3120 block of West fiftieth Road close to Clark Avenue within the Stockyards neighborhood.

Cleveland Police mentioned the 5-year-old woman ran out between two parked automobiles on the west facet of West fiftieth Road heading east.

The automobile was heading northbound on West fiftieth Road and struck the woman, launching her ahead and onto the bottom in entrance of the car, in line with police.

The automobile then ran over the woman, Cleveland police mentioned, and fled the crash scene heading west on Fanta Avenue then south on West fiftieth Road.
