Janet Sloan Cole Rudolph died peacefully on October 29, 2022, surrounded by her household.  Janet was 95 years previous.

Janet was born on Might 31, 1927 in Cleveland, OH to Edna Dorothy Sloan and Herbert Andrew Cole, each from Cleveland OH. She was an solely baby and was usually surrounded by her many cousins. They hung out collectively at her grandparent’s cottage on Lake Erie.

Janet liked attending the College of New Mexico, learning portray and artwork historical past and earned her BFA in 1948.  Janet additionally attended The Ohio State College the place she earned her Grasp of Positive Artwork diploma in 1953.  She earned her educating certificates in each Ohio and in New York.

Janet volunteered within the Manlius group and taught particular training at Nice Road Elementary Faculty.

In New Mexico, she developed an curiosity in Native American tradition and craft, which continued in Central New York with the Onondaga Nation.

She retired from the Syracuse College School of Visible and Performing Arts within the admissions workplace.

Janet was curious and humorous; she had a fast wit and wry humorousness.  Her life was centered round creativity and studying.  She liked animals. She liked Shakespeare and attended Syracuse College Lacrosse video games.

She might be celebrated in our recollections.

She is survived by her daughters, Jennifer Tuemmler and her husband David Tuemmler and their two sons, Sean and Kasch Tuemmler of North Yarmouth, Maine; Elizabeth Rudolph of Manlius, New York; Katherine Rudolph and her husband Michael Silveira and their daughters, Emily and Claire Silveira of Yarmouth, Maine.
