Four-star 2026 defensive lineman commits to Ohio State
COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Ohio State football program earned a much-needed pledge along the defensive line on Friday, as four-star Damari Simeon committed to the Buckeyes.
Simeon, who attends St. Augustine Prep in Richland, New Jersey, is the No. 201 overall prospect and No. 26 defensive lineman in the 2026 class, per the 247Sports composite rankings.
Simeon is the second defensive line commitment for the Buckeyes, joining four-star Khary Wilder. While Simeon is an interior player, Wilder can play both on the edge or as a defensive tackle when he arrives on campus.
Ohio State now has 18 commitments in the 2026 class, as defensive line coach Larry Johnson adds a much-needed big man to his front four.
The Buckeyes could still use some help along the defensive front, specifically at edge rusher, but Simeon certainly moves things in a positive direction.
