Crashes, lake effect snow close I-90 for hours in Ashtabula County

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – Crashes and wintry climate alongside a stretch of I-90 in Ashtabula County triggered an hours-long closure close to the Ohio and Pennsylvania state line.

Lane closures on I-90 began round 6:30 a.m.

In response to the Ohio Division of Transportation, a number of semi-trucks turned caught on I-90 as heavy lake impact snow moved by Ashtabula and Lake counties.

Each instructions of the interstate have been closed between State Route 11 and State Route 7 within the Conneaut space.

As of 10 a.m. on Thursday, the Ohio Division of Transportation mentioned I-90 remained closed.
