Cleveland State Men’s Golf Takes Fifth at NKU Jewell Invitational

Batavia, OH-The Cleveland State males’s golf staff completed fifth within the Jewell Invitational hosted by Northern Kentucky at Elks Run Golf Membership. The Vikings completed at 15-over par for the three-round occasion. Host Northern Kentucky gained the occasion with a 4-under whole. 

Two Vikings completed the week with top-10 finishes, as Jack Hanus and David Laib every completed tied for 7^th with even par totals. Laib had the low spherical of the day for the Vikings with a 2-under 69. He carded a 3-under 33 on the entrance 9 with three birdies. Hanus closed with a 4-over 75. 

Alex Anderson completed in a tie for 36^th place at 9-over for the match. Anderson capped his week with a 7-over par spherical of 78. 

Brody Simms completed in a tie for 48^th place at 12-over par. Rounding out the Viking lineup, Andrew Kaye completed in a tie for 64^th at 18-over. Mason Frazier, enjoying as a person, completed tied for 57^th at 15-over par. 

The Vikings will subsequent compete on the Wright State Invitational, scheduled for Sunday and Monday April 16^th and 17^th of their remaining tune up earlier than the Horizon League Championship on the finish of the month.
