Cleveland Museum of Art to host two City Stages concerts in August

CLEVELAND, Ohio — The Cleveland Museum of Artwork will deliver again its world music collection Metropolis Phases for 2 concert events in August.

The reveals will happen in entrance of Transformer Station at 7:30 p.m. on Aug. 3 and 10. Each reveals are free and open to the general public, in line with a press launch.

On Aug. 3, catch Dobet Gnahoré, a singer, percussionist and dancer from Côte d’Ivoire, also referred to as the Ivory Coast. The Grammy-winning musician has launched six full-length albums, together with 2021′s “Couleur.”

On Aug. 10, Cuban musician Cimafunk will carry out, mixing hip-hop, funk, soul and Afro-Carribbean music into his personal distinctive mix. He’ll be joined by a nine-person band from Havana, in line with a press launch.

The reveals happen throughout FRONT Worldwide’s regional Triennial artwork exhibition, which can function art work at Transformer Station and dozens of different venues in Northeast Ohio by Oct. 2. The artwork present, titled “Oh, Gods of Mud and Rainbows,” will run by Oct. 2.

Although Transformer Station normally is open 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Wednesdays by Sundays, the gallery will stay open late, till 9 p.m., throughout the Metropolis Phases present, in line with a press launch.
