Cleveland man slain in city’s Brooklyn Centre neighborhood

CLEVELAND, Ohio – A Cleveland man was slain Monday in the city’s Brooklyn Centre neighborhood, authorities say.

Billy Legrone, 30, was shot about 7:50 p.m., according to police and the office of the Cuyahoga County medical examiner. Police said Legrone was on West 39th Street and Denison Avenue when he was shot.
