Cleveland-Cliffs, United Steelworkers ratify new labor contract

CLEVELAND, Oh. (WLUC) – Cleveland-Cliffs Inc. (NYSE: CLF) has introduced Friday that staff represented by the United Steelworkers (USW) at its Tilden and Empire mines in Michigan, and its United Taconite and Hibbing Taconite mines in Minnesota have ratified new 47-month labor agreements at these places.

Lourenco Goncalves, chairman, president and CEO stated, “We’re happy to succeed in new labor agreements which might be truthful, equitable, and helpful for our staff, their households, and the corporate. With a robust and constant workforce, we’re assured that Cleveland-Cliffs will proceed to be the benchmark within the iron and metal trade. We thank all of the members of the USW and Cliffs negotiating groups for his or her dedication to succeed in these agreements.”
