Careless smoking causes apartment fire, Cleveland firefighters say

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – 2 homes were harmed in a fire on the city’s East side Monday night.
Cleveland firemans were called out to a three-story structure in the 9000 block of Stewart Opportunity around 9 p.m.
According to firemans, reckless smoking cigarettes began the blaze.
The Red Cross is currently assisting one displaced local.
Firemans included the fire created $8,000.00 in problems to one apartment or condo and also $1,000.00 in problems to the 2nd apartment or condo.
There were no injuries.
