A new sandwich shop is coming to Cleveland, Ohio | Isla Chiu | NewsBreak Original

A Greater Cleveland sandwich shop is planning to expand.

Last year, Tost Sandwich Cafe announced plans to open new locations in Cleveland. One of the new locations can be found in Cleveland’s Tremont neighborhood at 2341 Scranton Rd.

No set opening date for the new location has been announced yet, but in a social media post on July 14, the owner of Tost said the new location is “opening very soon.” The new sandwich shop is currently in the process of hiring staff.

Tost’s menu includes a variety of made-to-order panini sandwiches. Bread options include white, rye seeded, sourdough, sunflower honey whole wheat, and ciabatta.

When the new location is open, you’ll be able to get sandwiches like the Tommy Boy (which comes with corned beef, roast beef, peppered bacon, zesty coleslaw, cheddar cheese, tomato, and chipotle mayo), Gobble Gobble (which comes with smoked turkey, turkey pastrami, sweet slaw, cheddar cheese, tomato, and chipotle mayo), classic Reuben, Clevewood (which comes with corned beef, pastrami, wasabi slaw, swiss cheese, and tomato), and Stuffalotta, which comes with smoked ham, Genoa salami, pepperoni, provolone cheese, lettuce, tomato, red onion, olive tapenade, and basil vinaigrette.

Other sandwiches include the Where’s Charlie (which comes with tuna salad, peppered bacon, Colby cheese, and tomato), Super Duper Club (which comes with smoked turkey, Bavarian ham, peppered bacon, Canadian bacon, American cheese, Swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato, and roasted garlic aioli), Kojak (which comes with mortadella, salami, capicola, vegetable feta spread, red onion, lettuce, tomato, and basil vinaigrette), and more.

If you’re in need of meatless options, the menu includes sandwiches like the Lactose Joe (which comes with these types of cheeses: pepper jack, Havarti, swiss, muenster, Colby jack, and provolone) and Forgetaboutit (which comes with lettuce, tomato, cucumbers, red onions, roasted red peppers, hummus, and pesto mayo).

If you have room for something sweet, the shop makes dessert sandwiches like the Bananarama (which has peanut butter, fresh strawberries, and banana) and the Nutter Butter, which has Nutella and peanut butter.

Aside from sandwiches, Tost has salads like a few different coleslaws, a few different potato salads, classic macaroni salad, pad Thai noodle salad, kale basil pesto cavatelli salad, sour cream and cheddar mac salad, and cheese tortellini and artichoke salad.

The shop also serves classic chili as well as vegan chili, cheddar mac and cheese, and white cheddar mac and cheese.
