A new restaurant has come to Cleveland’s AsiaTown neighborhood.

Are you in the mood for a hot bowl of ramen? If you answered yes to that question, you might want to know that a new restaurant called Alpha Ramen opened its doors in Cleveland this month.

Alpha Ramen’s menu, of course, features several bowls of ramen. For $12.99, you can get a bowl of tonkotsu ramen, which has a pork broth and comes with pork chashu, shrimp, bamboo shoot, wakame, half of a marinated egg, nori, corn, scallions, and fish cake. For a dollar more, you can make your tonkotsu ramen spicy.

Also on the menu is miso ramen, which comes with the same toppings as tonkotsu ramen and is also $12.99. A spicy version with chili oil is available for $13.99.

If you’re really hungry, you can get the mega ramen (which comes with pork broth, pork chashu, shrimp, bamboo shoot, wakame, half of a marinated egg, nori, corn, scallions, and fish cake) for $15.99.

If you’re a fan of spice, the restaurant also serves spicy Korean kimchi ramen (which has a pork broth and comes with kimchi, pork chashu, bamboo shoot, wood ear, half of a marinated egg, corn, and scallions) for $13.99 and spicy garlic miso ramen (which comes with kimchi, pork chashu, bamboo shoot, wood ear, half of a marinated egg, corn, scallions, and black garlic oil) for $14.99.

Aside from ramen, the restaurant sells takoyaki, which are fried octopus balls, for $5.99.

If you want something to quench your thirst, the restaurant offers a variety of beverages from HA!TEA, which specializes in bubble tea drinks. The beverage selection includes matcha lattes, matcha brown sugar milk tea, matcha strawberry milk tea, matcha milk tea, matcha banana milk tea, tiger black milk tea, Okinawa brown sugar milk tea, brown sugar ginger milk tea, brown sugar purple yam, and dairy-free brown sugar ginger tea.

Hands down the best takoyaki I’ve had in Ohio, was really impressed! Ramen was also really good, the veggies were crisp and the broth was outstanding 😁 The atmosphere is very unique, the cel shaded furniture was a sight to behold.
