4 men arrested at abandoned Cleveland high school

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – Cleveland police responded to the old Martin Luther King High School Friday morning after calls came in about a suspicious vehicle at the school.

Police say they responded to the school in the 1600 block of East 71st Street around midnight.

Arriving officers say they called for backup after hearing noises from inside the building.

Officers arrested four men at the school around 1 a.m., according to police.

The men were attempting to steal copper, according to officers on-scene.
